I am a surgeon. I love the challenge, the excitement and above all the joy and satisfaction of knowing that I could use all of my experience and ability to be a Healer.

Dr. Joe Wilder’s  paintings are a rare record of what goes on in the operating room from the point of view of an insider, someone who has performed many operations and seen many operations performed,  he indeed knows what it’s like to be deep in surgery.

• What is a Giclee?

   A Giclee is an excellent reproduction of the original painting on canvas. Giclees are a higher print quality than the traditional lithography and are more expensive to reproduce. Gicleeis a French term (pronounced “jee-clay”) which means to spray ink.

  Dr. Joe Wilder was Chief of Surgery at New York\’s Hospital for Joint Diseases and a Professor of Surgery at Mt. Sinai Medical School. Joe Wilder was featured in a PBS documentary “Ageless Heroes” he was one of ten chosen as ageless heroes selected for their great achievement.
