I have tried in my surgical paintings to portray the surgeon dedicated, caring, hard working individual I have observed by the thousands in my thirty-five year career as a Chief and Professor of surgery. Dr. Joe Wilder was Chief of Surgery at New York\’s Hospital for Joint Diseases and a Professor of Surgery at Mt. Sinai Medical School. Joe Wilder was featured in a PBS documentary “Ageless Heroes” he was one of ten chosen as ageless heroes selected for their great achievement.

What is a Giclee?

A Giclee is an excellent reproduction of the original painting on canvas. Giclees are a higher print quality than the traditional lithography and are more expensive to reproduce. Gicleeis a French term (pronounced “jee-clay”) which means to spray ink.
Many museums across the world have either hanging exhibitions of Giclees or have purchased prints for their permanent collections.
Our Giclees are printed on the same high quality canvas as original paintings.
