What is a Giclee?

A Giclee is an excellent reproduction of the original painting on canvas. Giclees are more a higher print quality and are more expensive to reproduce than the traditional lithography. Gicleeis a French term (pronounced “jee-clay”) which means to spray ink.
Many museums across the world have either hanging exhibitions of Giclees or have purchased prints for their permanent collections.
